How to find us

The barge is moored in front of the cafe premises at the base of the Eye Apartment building in Temple Quay. The postcode for the Eye is BS2 0DW. You can also see us from the Valentine Bridge (the bendy pedestrian bridge!)

From Temple Meads station leave by the side entrance taking you to Temple Quay. Walk past the shops (Philpotts, Starbucks etc) and look for the Valentine pedestrian bridge in the distance on the right-hand side. Cross the bridge and turn left, pass Double Puc and go down the steps - the Light House Prayer Barge is at the bottom.

From Avon Street, head into Temple Quay using the entrance shown as the taxi entrance for Burges Salmon. Turn right in front of the Eye (do not cross the bridge) and you will find us at the bottom of the steps.

Parking is difficult. You might find space in the street but the best bet is to park in Gardner Haskins car park (BS2 0JP) and walk towards Temple Quay along New Kingsley Road, turn right onto Avon street and follow instructions above.

In the evening, Gardner Haskins car park generally closes at 7pm so park in the 24-hour car park that fills the corner between Russ Street and Old Bread Street (note the parking meter is in the middle, don’t forget to pay as they will fine you!).
